With that roster they will be able to freely substitute without any drop off. It will be maddening for opposing teams. There doesn’t appear to be any weakness.

Yes, subbing 5 at a time. Remember when Tulane and Perry Clark had the posse? It worked really well.

LSU fanbase likes a winner. Honestly as much as a cliche as that is for every fanbase of every team of every sport on earth, the LSU fanbase rings true as much as any.

I think Poole, Smith and Del Rosario are all starters at some point against different teams. They will all will get plenty of minutes as will Last-Tier Poa but he has the lineup correct imo.

Makayla Williams is also a beast on defense but she has so many offensive tools, she won’t be beat out. Both are big bodied girls who won’t be pushed around and Williams is slightly longer. Both are quick and athletic for that size. Both can handle the ball well too. Makayla is a better pull up shooter and better on the glass. Both can shoot the 3 well too. The more I look at it, the more I’m noticing that they are very similar. Makayla is probably a better driver and better handler of the ball. Those two, Smith and Del Rosario will probably be the most switched players on this team next year. If Last-Tier Poa works on her outside game, her drive game and her pull up jumper, she could become a good shooting guard switching with both HVL and Johnson. I just don’t see HVL coming out very often unless she has to take her out but she shouldn’t need to foul at all and I don’t see anyone even close to her skill set level.

If Johnson and Poa get even better, this team will be absolutely ridiculously good. Del Rosario and Smith can switch out with each other when we need that length in there and they could even play together with Reese being so damn versatile. HVL, Reese, Johnson, Poa, Rosario, Smith, Morrow, Williams and Poole will all get plenty of minutes next season. What an insane rebounding lineup that can also score lots of points. That’s about what you want in terms of depth numbers and bench players with not much drop off. It’ll be a fun team to watch.

Flaujae will be a starter.
That would leave our frontcourt at 6'1" and 6'3". After watching her yesterday, Williams will start. She is amazing. She's also 6'0"/6'1" and rebounds. But IMO, we need another big in the lineup.
