Problem with this Team

I won't name names, but a player tonight made a great offensive play. It was a drive & dunk, and it cut the lead to 11. LSU had a chance to get it under double digits with a defensive stop. Said player stops to flex under the goal, can't get back on defense, and his man drains a 3.

Come on man someone took his picture

I stopped watching LSU men’s games the 3rd week of SEC play. Spit it out who are you referring to?

Hopefully, they can photoshop out all the wide open layups and dunks Mizzo got tonight.

We have one player who can consistently shoot, from one spot on the floor.

We got a emotionless clown car mid major level coach

That is not the problem with his team but it is a symptom. The problem is the lack of valuing the ball by the guards, The poor shooting and the defensive lapses. They also play better fast but that is a negative for KJ as he is not quick up the court. Miller is streaky and Justice brings nothing. I would start Ward over him. He has way more skills and way more upside. He will get better with more PT. Had a good game tonight and Fountain was huge. KJ needs to play with his energy. Too flat footed. But they played hard and never quit. Replicate that but play smarter and shoot better.

I did not see it but I bet its KJ. He likes to let everyone know he is quite guy until he does something he flexes.

Give him a break. Any great offensive play is a reason for celebration these days.

Hill actually scored tonight some and had a good stat line.
Miller has a bunch of steals but his defense is full of mental lapses

At least they're not out there playing street ball. Get some good X and O plays just like James Naismith envisioned. None of this alley oop and zip-a-dee-doo-dah plays, get out there and play some strict basketball!
I'd rather lose by a hundred than win with "street ball!"

I'd play Ward as a 2 guard, don't see him ever being a PG.
