It would seem that NC State may be open to going ahead and accepting the 3 million buyout so they can get moving. They are now dealing with a UNC opening right down the road so this lingering on is not good for them.

would pay good money to have a camera following McMahon around all day mik'd up listening to conversations he's having either with himself or other people as this is unfolding.

Eh this makes me uneasy. As much as I’m not a fan, McMahon shouldn’t be a spectacle. He has a family and this is still a tough day for them (money helps though). He is a lot of things but he never struck me as lazy.

He tried. It didn’t work. Let’s all move on.

dude is probably relieved, gonna have a big stack of money and can go back to being a "good" mid major coach.

I bet he is. The SEC was just too difficult for him. When you got/had coaches like Oats, Golden, elder Pearl, Barnes, etc. Yeah, he was way out of his league.

They are gonna fire McMahon publicly at the press conference simultaneously introducing Wade

It'll be a spectacle like you've never seen

That's exactly what he struck me as. The only better description would be apathetic.

Absolutely. Hopefully the admin didn't just string him along and told him this was the plan. It really doesn't seem like it but we don't really know what's going on behind the scenes.

He was informed on Sunday. Gives him a couple of days instead of dropping it on him the same day it goes public.

Hopefully gives him and his staff a chance to hit the market. He’s been a class act, I hope he has success elsewhere.

As I mentioned yesterday, it does look like David Patrick is in the mix to be on Bennett’s staff at Arizona St.

I will never feel sorry for people making millions of dollars that get fired. If they would have done what they were getting paid to do, they wouldn't have been fired, and now they have millions to not work.

Disagree. He was a lazy checked out alcoholic.

He failed because he wasnt doing his job.

If he was doing his job and failed I would agree with you

That was never an option. It was said by a few people and then repeated ad nauseam on here, because that’s what people do on here.
