I'm gonna go with 18-12. I think we take some lumps early but Jay figures out how to get the offense humming later in the season and we start to heat up. I think the staff is built to make a deep run in the SECt, but ultimately we may fall short of a top 8 seed. I think 18 wins puts us right on the bubble. However, I do think we host a regional and still make a run back to Omaha.

UF L2
@Arky L2
Vandy W2
@UT L2
@Mizzou W2
Auburn W2
A&M W2
@Alabama W2
Ole Miss W3

Those two weeks of Auburn and A&M are going to be key. I think those two series could go either way but if we want to position ourselves for a postseason run we need to start heating up around that time, especially with our conference schedule being so front-loaded.

For reference last year we were 19-10

30-0 in conference play. CJJ is elected president and makes it illegal for LSU to lose

Florida is overrated IMO. Be very interested to see them play A&M this weekend.

Fla is still talented but struggling with consistency right now especially on the mound

Glad LSU is playing Fla early before they figure things out

Love the pitching & defense

Wish they had more RHP pitching but hope guys like Moffett, Hellmers, Little & Noot can provide something down the stretch.

I don’t expect anything close to last year in terms off offense, but this team will have to do more offensively to take the conference.

I worry about the games that will get away from the starters & turn offensive, and if lsu can keep up.

A lot of fans will be frustrated but honestly this team is built well to compete in the postseason format with the pitching they have.

I think over the stretch of SEC, 16-14 / 17-13., tho.

If/when Tommy gets in a groove I think the rest of the offense will feed off of him. But yes..this won’t be last year’s offense.

I think State could be swept. We have the advantage pitching on Friday. A win could extend to the second game and if Hurd can get out of his own head we could take 3.

@MSU 3-0
UF 3-0
@Arky 1-2
Vandy 2-1
@UT 1-2
@Mizzou 3-0
Auburn 2-1
A&M 1-2
@Alabama 2-1
Ole Miss 2-1

20-10. Give or take a game of course.

Could easily get swept @Arkansas. But I don't know why people are predicting that LSU will drop the series to Florida at home. Florida is off to a terrible start this year. Except for power numbers, their batting is worse than LSU this year and their pitching is suspect with an SEC worst 5.72 staff ERA.

19-11. We have the pitching which I think is better overall than last year. Our bats need to wake up.

18-12. The floor would be 16-14, ceiling is 20-10.

Win the conference tourney.

Top 8 National Seed.

Omaha.
