Yep, I think that's probably our cieling. I think our point guard play just ain't good enough to beat the better best teams and our shooting is too inconsistent.

But if we are healthy and the right gals are hot at the right time I do think we can beat anybody in a one game scenario, just not too sure we can beat 3 of the type of teams we'd have to beat to win it all in a row - which is what we'd almost certainly have to do to win it all.

I think they make the elite 8 and get beat by UCLA.

PG play is mediocre and the 5 spot isn’t any better ,
Smith gives a little bit of defense and rebounding but not much offense and Jersey and ADR offer very little when in games but Jersey can at least make a layup .

It would be a miracle if we made it to the Sweet 16.

We'll definitely make it to the sweet sixteen. If we play NCSU I think we'll beat them as well. However, beating UCLA in the elite eight, without size in the post is going to be hard to overcome. We'll see though........................

No Angel or Alexus, that's this team weakness.

3. We have been 3-seed all four years with Mulkey.

We will go as far as our patch-work point guards will take us. I have a feeling that whenever we lose, the main reason will be something point-guard related, such as too many turnovers or bad defense.

It will be much harder to win a title this year for everyone. There are many more good teams at the top. When we won it all, the only team we really needed to dodge was SC, and Iowa helped us with that.

This year, SC, Texas, USC, UCLA, and UConn are all legit, and Notre Dame has the talent to get hot and make a run also. I am glad we didn't end up in the bracket with USC and UConn.

it would take a miracle for us to win as 26 pt favorites against SDSU and as favorites against FSU? Do you really need attention from random people on the internet that badly to make such retarded comments? Trolls are worthless these days

People forget NCAAT is all about matchups and strength and weakness. If LSU gets by Florida State they have a great shot at getting to the elite 8.

Nc St is very good and improved but their style of play does not play into the weak spots LSU has with its current team. They are a very lax team defensively, their freshmen center is improved but still morrow and SaMyah inside is better. Their guards rely on getting hot from 3.

Kim or lsu coaches won’t say it out loud but I bet you if they gave you their personal opinion. Not making an elite 8 will be disappointing to them after what they did most of this season and current bracket set up. An elite 8 run is there for the taking.

Final Four

Don't have the depth, point guard play , or the bookend for Morrow underneath to sustain a Final 4 run
