Floor 7-11
Ceiling 10-8
South Carolina, ole miss, miss st are not great.
Texas, A&M, Oklahoma, are nothing more than average teams.
Kentucky and auburn are not there usual teams.
Very winnable games. Will just need some continued/more developed bench production

It’s not that inconceivable
Of course it isn't inconcievable but it is unlikely. Based on the current NET/KenPom rankings of the teams, I would say the bolds are likely wins, the underlined are 50/50 games at best, and the italicized are likely losses. So the likely outcomes are 3 wins, 2 maybes, 4 losses. Of course, in basketball, there are always games whose outcomes make no sense at all
Sat, Jan 3 @ Texas A&M - NET #64 - KenPom #48 - Q1
Tue, Jan 6 vs South Carolina - NET #108 - KenPom #91 - Q3
Sat, Jan 10 @ Vanderbilt - NET #6 - KenPom #8 - Q1
Wed, Jan 14 vs Kentucky - NET #22 - KenPom #18 - Q1
Sat, Jan 17 vs Missouri - NET #67 - KenPom #51 - Q2
Tue, Jan 20 @ Florida - NET #21 - KenPom #11 - Q1
Sat, Jan 24 @ Arkansas - NET #27 - KenPom #27 - Q1
Wed, Jan 28 vs Mississippi St. - NET #124 - KenPom #88 - Q3
Sat, Jan 31 @ South Carolina - NET #108 - KenPom #91 - Q2
But if they do win 6 games in January, they'll be 6-3 in the SEC going into February, and only a complete collapse would keep them out of the NCAA Tournament, though the back end of the schedule is harder than the front end.

Missouri dropped all the way down to 92 after their 40 pt loss to Illinois

MK is MK. He's a bit to take, but he knows his ball, and he's always around.
If arguing, insulting intelligence, and talking about people's mom is "knowing ball", than he definitely takes the cake. I don't think I've actually seen him talk about basketball stuff.

I think we could get to 7-11 but I’ll go 6-12 with one win over arky because McNuggets owns cal

He won't put himself in a position to be wrong.
10-8 is what I say.

His lunch break isn’t until 1:30. Give him some time

9-9
The sec is not nearly as strong as it was. When we hit the 3 and stay attacking we are actually really good (look at SMU game). When we come out lazy on D and we settle on contested 3’s, we can lose to almost anybody (look at Texas Tech blowout)
If we finish regular with only 10 losses I expect somewhere in the 7-9 range tourney

I'll stick with 11-7. Should be good enough to get in tournament.

9-9 seems about right. We’ll win a couple surprisingly and lose a couple surprisingly, because that’s basketball.

He wants to ban bet, but he won’t put his own prediction out there

LSU is atrocious defensively, so any team that is above average offensively will be a real challenge.
This is so beyond false. In defensive rate we are actually pretty good. We are top 70 out of 320+ teams.
People don’t get that LSU plays fast and has a ton of possessions, points don’t dictate good/bad on defense
We played SMU who has a top 40 offensive rate and we shut them down big time. Prairie View (are we really putting that much stock into this?) and TTU were 2 very bad performances, the rest have been very good
LSU is a top 40 team right now on most sites that use advanced analytics. You don’t get that way by sucking on D. We don’t create turnovers but we force teams to play consistently, and sometimes it bites us in the arse but overall it works for this team.

You made a prediction I asked if you wanted to bet on it, you ran and are now trying to reframe the situation because of course you’re a pussy. .
