9-9 should be the floor. League is good but the team has some nice pieces.

Can’t believe half the league is ranked and LSU can’t even get a solitary vote

I am thinking maybe 8-10. SEC will be harder this season than last.

With Reed 9-9, without Reed 6-12.
This will be his best team, but the SEC is going to be a sluggest every night out.

Realistically 8-9 wins is what I am expecting and that’s me being optimistic just so we have a shot at a bid. I didn’t think they’d go .500 before tonight but maybe they can. Need to go 12-1 OOC since we’ll be favored in every game remaining this month. Should keep us afloat in the tourney convo

Looking at our schedule I am hopeful for 9-9 and I think this is a realistic goal and probably the ceiling because the conference is gonna beat each other up. This record would get us into the tournament. In order to achieve this though we absolutely have to start 2-1 in the first three games. Here is the path IMO.

vs VAN W
@ MIZ W
@ 23 MISS L
vs ARK W
@ 22 TA&M L
@ 10 ALA L
vs 2 AUB (have to split AU and TX)
vs TEX
@ UGA W
vs 23 MISS W
@ ARK L
@ 21 OU L
vs SC (have to go 2-1 in this home stretch)
vs 13 FLA
vs 3 TENN
@ MSST L
@ 4 UK L
vs 22 TA&M W

We are currently 45 on KenPom and have 12 other SEC schools ahead of us. League seems to be stacked this year.

Even unranked uga has started with their best start in forever. They looked great on d tonight. They're supposed to be one of our easier opponents.

Gotta beat vandy in week 1 sec play

League is stacked. Had them at 9-9 before the season started.

I think 11-7 is the ceiling and 7-11 is the floor

I'd be happy with 9-9.

We beat SMU and finish 12-1 in OOC, that will get us a tourney bid

9-9, which still could get you into the tournament

Losing Reed really sucks

Ouch 2-7 on the road based on these projections. By comparison last year we were 3-6 on the road

I have not seen alot of the other teams in the SEC, but I'll give my opinion that V. Miller is one of the 20 best freshmen in the country - and I was not expecting that....and Corey Chest is the dog we've been missing in CMM's tenure.

Not sure how good Fla. St. is....their NET ranking was somewhere in the 60's so it was not a Quad 1 win last night being it was on our home court.

But they were big and athletic and it was a solid win. Alt said they, like us, were picked toward the bottom of their conference.

Reed's injury is a wild card here or I'd pick us better, but I'm gonna say 9-9 and a tourney birth!!

I think this is extremely possible, maybe even likely.

I'd be happy with 9-9.

I think 12-8 is the ceiling but we are lock step in our thinking, otherwise

I predict 24-9 (12-8), because I'm a sunshine pumper I use the ceiling as my season prediction, with a floor of 18-15 (7-11).
