This has been the safe prediction for a long time.
If Canada turns out to be the real deal, I see LSU winning the West. Aranda was damn impressive in his first year, and I think even with losses at key positions that we have the guns to be stout. While the secondary is going to have a huge learning curve, the front seven looks good enough to keep the pressure off them.
Etling's deep ball is limited, but I really think his ability to distribute the ball will work well moving forward. Guice forcing the safeties to creep up will help quite a bit.
With a smothering defense, we just need to attack on offense and never let off the gas.

All the games we lost were by a touchdown or less no? The defense kept us close all game. A competent offense to match Aranda is a recipe for 14-0.

go with my head.....ok here goes
A team that last year that had one of the best defenses in college football. Lost 4 games by a combined of 23 points. My head says this IF big IF the defense plays at least a little similar to last year and Coach O can keep our team motivated to the point were they feel and play like they can beat the 1985 Bears and Canada gives the offense the edge finally I honestly and not bias at all can't see why LSU wouldn't be National Champions and undefeated

Anyone who thinks we beat Bama is smoking some good weed. Guys, we haven't beaten them In 6 fricking tries. They just went to the NC game with a True Freshman at QB. We are not winning that game at all.
