I thought the same thing. LSU was towards the bottom when he got here, McNeese was as well. Took both programs to better heights and will do the same in Raleigh.

They’re a bunch of sick masochists that demand you watch McMahon take us to the lowest we’ve ever been

You’re not wrong with most people living in a fantasyland but I’m not so sure with the whole “one of our boosters took money from a children’s hospital” scandal along with media witch hunt Baylor tape allegations.

Still amazing they vacated wins but it’s not like anyone doesn’t count them

You guys watch too many movies. The NCAA did not ask LSU to fire Wade to “save” football. What a ridiculous story that’s been repeated on here for years.

You are correct. The NCAA did not ask LSU to do anything and it is not their place to do so. At the time Wade was in trouble. LSU was up to their neck in alligators with the numerous massive pending litigations against the university for Title IX issues which was federal law problems. Wade was tied up in an FBI investigation an a subsequent NCAA investigation. LSU eventually cut ties with Wade when he reneged on his promise to LSU to testify in the NCAA case. Wade’s counsel advised him against it in the end. Both sides knew what was going to happen as a result.

So you can poo poo all you want but both parties knew wha was going to happen.

There are still fools out that believe this. Repeat after me “Woodward couldn’t stand Wade and used this for all the gullible idiots”. He wanted to hire his man and boy did he hire a winner.

You have absolutely no clue as to the reasons. You are just choosing to believe whatever the hell you made up in your mind. And then call someone else a fool for not believing your made up theory that you pulled out of your arse.

Didn't we win the West in his first year?
What have we won since.

You’re right but we are much improved from when he took over. Not my standard but it is a fact.

he will be the next Callipari.
will likely win a natty before he retires and it should have been done @ LSU. Cannot find it in me to justify Scotty at all. He sacrifices Wade so he could give BK an astronomical contract for a perennial 9-4 football team. Good job my guy.

You idiots absolutely love repeating this. Do you have any clue where BK ranks in terms of money per year among SEC coaches?

4th,

So how does that amount to an "astronomical" amount of money?

Ahh ok, let's move the bar to make it fit your narrative.

So, let me know if I'm correct. Your solution would be to lure a top tier coach to LSU, and pay him bottom half of SEC money until he makes the playoffs?

It’s now 9th nationally inside the top 1% of all coaches. The returns haven’t been equal to those numbers.

And the 12 team playoff has been in existence one year. In 3 seasons LSU has played for an SEC Championship and had a heisman winner. Do we really need to discuss where the program was when he took over.

And again... Is the solution to pay somebody pennies until they prove they can make the playoffs?

What are you talking about? You obviously haven’t read my posts and are just assuming what I’ve said. You asked where he ranked among SEC coaches and were given the answer.
