Brian Thomas Jr has been mentioned by Coach BK as one of, if not the strongest players pound for pound
Eli Ricks definitely agrees with that.

FSU offense is going to get bitch slapped by this Tiger Defense. Omar and Perkins fixing to eat. Beasts!

I hope he can combine his gifts with football skills. It should be fun watching a guy like him learn to play
What?

2022 (JUNIOR)
• All-Pac-12 First Team
• Phil Steele All-Pac-12 First Team
• Associated Press All-Pac-12 Second Team
• PFF All-Pac-12 Second Team
• Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List (top defensive player)
• Bednarik Award Watch List (most outstanding defensive player)
• Played in and started all 13 games
• Led Oregon State with 83 tackles. Added eight tackles for loss, four quarterback hurries and one pass breakup
Dude had football skills before he became a physical beast. He’s not “learning” how to play. He’s a been a player since he got to college. Unless you were talking about Perkins. He dominated last year on raw freakish athleticism and instincts. Now, watching him learn how to play LB these next 2 years is gonna be something special. Speights may the most proven player on the entire defense.

Sure will be. Perkins surely has a lot to learn about the LSU defense so that his assignments become automatic. But he is a natural LB already. His production last year was not just due to physical ability; it was also due to great football instincts.

Can't say enough about a guy like him coming in and setting the pace. He is going to be stout in the middle of field with #4 HP running beside him.
