Loved Don Redden!! he was a good family friend and when I was a kid…he would visit and I would think he was a giant!! Lol A very gentle giant ;) I was still pretty young when he passed, but I’ll never forget how heartbroken my parents were :(

back then gray was about the only choice in facemask color, that was a pretty plain Jane helmet though, the decal on the helmet was one of the most common car decals you'd see, they switched to what we have now my senior season, iirc, and Cholly Mac's last
