There is a difference between being negative and being realistic. You think we want the game cancelled?

I don't necessarily think the game is going to be moved, but there's more than enough reason to be concerned.

Nope, but your ticket won't do much good if there isn't a game now will it, grumpy?

Won't do me much good in Provo either.

Move the game to BR. Make the decision now

My concern is really the fact that this morning it was forecast to be a cat 1 storm and now all of a sudden a possible cat 4. When the 4 pm advisory comes out, will it go up even more? If it's close enough to Houston, is that enough wind to damage the stadium? I don't know but, that's a strong storm and Houston is damn near as close to the coast as NOLA.

If the game gets moved, it will be to Provo IMO. Storm is supposed to move toward BR area (actually more like central to southeast LA) sometime between Tuesday and Thursday. No way to know what kind of storm it will be by then.

the new Euro has this thing basically bumping off the coast of TX and slamming SWLA again. That would be BAD for all of LA including us in BR. No chance this game is getting played in TX or LA next weekend

Move the game to JerryWorld. Play it at 8:30pm on Sat Sept 2. UF-Mich game is at 2:30pm.

It's a legitimate concern. No one knows what the impact to Houston is going to be, when it would happen, or how long it would last. Frustrating, I know- but we have no choice but to keep things in perspective. This storm could be a killer with lasting implications.....

What a nightmare for Provo when 10k Tiger fans show up to tailgate and there is no alcohol to be found.

I hope they find somewhere to play. Houston will be a mess for a while. And they are going to need all the hotel room in the city they can get. Plus who knows about flooding and the worst thing ELECTRICITY! We were without power for almost a month after Rita hit us in LC...

It won't truly dissipate until Tuesday or Wednesday. The real threat to our game isn't the storm itself, but the possibility of lingering flooding, tying up of first responders, and the possibility of using NRG as a refugee station.

It's possible San Antonio gets a ton of rain and is impacted as well. Plus, I doubt there will be any rooms. Corpus and the rest of the Texas coast have to evacuate somewhere, and SA is a much better option than Houston at this point.

It would suck arse. No consolation that Alleva would be involved

I know it is the Rantard mentality to "blame Alleva", but he was the one who actually had the plan for the Florida game last year that would have worked had Florida/Sankey not had their heads planted up their asses.
