Yes. The fan side of me. The LSU fanatic side of me wants every advantage for the Tigers possible. I want our players cleared and theirs not to play. It's part of being a fanatic. It's just the way it is. It's totally biased. It's totally unreasonable. It's completely unjust. It's unrational fandom. And to some degree I'm fairly unapologetic about it. And you know what, our opponents feel the same way about their team.

That never was said by me. I think I have voiced multiple times in multiple ways that everyone has a different take. All I am saying is that people are getting too worked up thinking that the only option is for miles to put their arse in the guillotine.

Staypuff said he knew Friday that Fisher would be the attorney. Not assumed, but knew according to his post in this thread. If he's the #1 lawyer in Baton Rouge, why did it take 48 hours for him to meet with his clients?
Sorry, that's a little bit of Devil's advocate by me. I think due process is in order and don't think they should be put through the ringer for a bar fight.

It's amazing to me that people have already reached such definite conclusions when we really don't know what happened. As near as I can tell the only thing that is definite is that a bunch of players skipped curfew to go to a bar, and some of them got in a fight. The police haven't decided what to do about it. Les Miles hasn't decided what to do about it. But half the Rant has made up their minds. WTF?

BRPD is simply treading the water very carefully. This is a potentially huge deal in the city, and they may yet put out warrants.
All the kids did was retain a lawyer, and said lawyer has informed the BRPD they will not be speaking to them on Monday at 9.
This means absolutely nothing other than the players are protecting themselves.
The fact that they need a lawyer, and particularly one as big as Nathan, likely means this isn't a joke or some simple bar fight.
