As suspected when when went for this guy so far up North. To get the playing time he did as a frosh and now a possible starting job to start his sophomore year is ridiculous to even really think about on a program like LSU. Give that dude props .

Really? The guy was a 5 star recruit and ranked No . 1 at his position by some services. It is in no way ridiculous for a highly touted recruit to be "possibly" starting as a sophomore at LSU. It's happened plenty of times in the past.

Whitworth started at lt his rsfyr. started for 4 yrs. ciron black came in as a true frosh and started 4 yrs. Pocic cant be all world. He's yet to beat out a current starter. Pocic has potential and will start next year. As of today he provides much needed quality depth.

The story isn't that a sophmore is starting...it's that he has supplanted a very solid senior who has played a ton of football at a position where you generally want to have experience.

That's the story.

LSU is looking more and more underrated as kickoff approaches...Alabama...not so much...AU is still the team to beat in the West, however.

Agreed

I still don't see what everyone sees a far as Alabama goes. Everyone is picking them to make the tourney all the while their QB position is supposedly a train wreck rigt now.

So they have 3 proven guys on defense and the rest are unproven. Sounds to me like solid NC team there

Who is saying it's a train wreck. Everything you see printed from ESPN and the rest of the media blow hards, is about how Coker will be all world and tear up the SEC.

Is there any evidence to suggest that Pocic hasn't won the guard spot and Porter will start at C?

The evidence is that the QB's have been shoving their hands in Pocic's crotch from the rear. That would be odd if he were playing guard.

That's all they have to lean on to prop up their gump worship. Did they not forget that Bama lost their last two games? Ridiculous.

In for an exciting ride this year
