If KY can do it for Calipari, LSU can do it for PM. Let him be the head BB coach til he dies. Seems most are supportive of his remaining at LSU long-term. Til Death do LSU-PM part.

I like the idea if you swap CPM with Will Wade.
My reasoning is mostly based on the age of each one respectively, and is in no way a knock on Mainieri.

A lifetime contract to anyone is dumb IMO. I see no reason to take away a person's incentive to do the best job possible. I realize competitors compete, but it's human nature to get too comfortable with a lifetime deal.

Totally agree, I don't even like extensions too much (I understand the thought process behind it but don't care for them especially when a coach has 2-3 years left on original contract).

If you are being serious, than you are an a-hole. You just argued in another thread about how CPM sucks because only 2 NC appearances and one title in 12 years.
