Stop it!

Plumlee is blazing fast.

Hurts is super instinctive.

I agree. Hurts is a very smart runner and more powerful but nowhere near as explosive. But he’s a much better passer than Plumlee which is what makes his scrambling dangerous. I think Aranda will be ready for it.

People on this board think all running qb's are exactly the same.

Plumlee, Manziel, Pat White, Cam Newton, all the same

Different dudes? I don’t believe it. Can you show proof? I haven’t seen Oklahoma and Ole Miss play in the same game together...ever. That tells me that Hurts and Plumlee IS the same player!!!

Hurts is powerful and has great vision. More than makes up for speed.

If a healthy Tua from September is a 10/10, I'd say Hurts is an 8.5/10. Less accurate thrower, not as fast, but more inclined to pursue contact in short downs. Plumlee is equivalent of throwing a 5* WR at qb in a wildcat formation, dude's ridiculously dangerous if he gets a step advantage on the secondary. Hurts however can be caught by the secondary.

Hurts is a good football player. He is a MUCH better passer than when at gumpland.

He will be a right handful.

How did this great QB lose to ksate and shoud have lost to Iowa state if not for the refrees not calling a clear PI in the end zone, also couldn't beat Baylor in regular time

Maybe I'm missing all of the comparisons across those guys, I haven't seen it. Hurts runs more like Derrick Henry and Tebow, nothing like Plumlee. It worries me a little because we've had a problem wrapping up at times this year, and you aren't bumping Hurts to the ground.

Well no shite Hurts is better overall than Plumlee.

The point is that the entire narrative of “LSU is bad on defense” came from like 7 plays of a QB doing specific things that Hurts is not physically capable of doing.

Plumlee couldn't carry Jalen Hurts's jockstrap.

People quickly forgot who this cat is. We will have our hands full.
