where it started and where it should've stayed, Offense players are pre maddonas and took the tradition away from the 7 for me, it should be passed down to our best DB year to year and if there isn't one then no one gets to wear it that year, 7 isn't a tradition anymore y'all gotta quit lying to yourself, "best player wears it" thats just as corny as Bamas LED lights

Edit: sorry didnt see the multiple posts but yea 7 doesn't represent what it once did, change my mind

Mathieu being unable to put down the weed and failing himself out of the program costing us the 2012 season would seem like more of a reason to upset you.

Haven't you been reading the RANT... everyone is marching to CEO's office and they getting the whole #7 thing squashed!!!! Probably because they could never be a #7 @ LSU.

You are correct. This number only starting with PP is just dumb.

The number doesn’t mean shite if the player that “earned it” is quitting before the season

You don't decide the tradition nor do you decide what people can like. Nothing lame about having a number we give to our best play maker. It's fun and it motivates kids and might help w recruiting.

Stop getting worked up over this, that's whats really lame.
