He’s been our top WR for the last 2 years and he didn’t come down with it. Oh and it’s not a drop no matter how much you guys kick and scream about it.

I don't think anyone would be complaining about the first one if he hadn't missed the second one. Add in the other horrible drop that hit him in the chest and his terrible body language and general lack of effort all night and it's not hard to understand why people are having such a negative reaction. He had a HORRIBLE game!

However, I remember Brandon Lafell having some ridiculous drops in 07 and kids were wearing Lafell jerseys and butterfinger wrappers on their fingers for Halloween and he was able to turn it around so I'm not giving up on Boutte but right now his criticism is well deserved

Correct, and he averaged 7.1 ypc when he tucked and ran.

And? You just argued he didn’t run a lot. You’re not only deflecting you’re arguing against your previous statement.

At all costs, let's make excuses for a no chest game played by our "star."

Please show me where I argued that he didn't run a lot.

How could he run every down when he threw 35 passes?! And completed 74% of them.

I would never argue that he didn't scramble a lot because he did. But he was very effective in doing so.

Again 55 drop backs. That’s means almost 40% of the time a pass was called he decided to run.

Deflection from your own stupidity.

How many turnovers did he have?
How would you grade our offensive line exactly?

Really think people need to rewatch the game. A lot of those runs were justified.

Lol you keep deflecting and talking in circles. You said something that was incorrect, that was shown with data and now you’re jumping to a bunch of other talking points and topics nobody brought up.

He held the ball longer than any other QB in the SEC this week, that’s just a fact. Yes some were warranted and a lot of what happened wasn’t on him. You don’t call 55 passes with a QB who obviously more gifted running the ball. The game plan stunk but making excuses for what happened is taking away from the actualities of the game. He missed a lot of hot reads and receivers running uncovered right down the middle of the field. Footage has been posted but people knighting for JD are sticking to a narrative and ignoring facts.

Please tell me what I said that is factually incorrect.

That he didn't run every down? That is factually correct evidenced by 35 passes. I never said he didn't scramble a lot. You conjured that up in your own head.

Ride the fence and deflect. You’re a waste of time.

First one was a tuff catch but one he has made before and it was in his hands.

The second one he never turned for it. Was still pissed about the prior play when he was wide open.

He needs to understand he is suppose to be the guy so the other teams are going to shut him down as much as they can. Be a team player and run your routes well and as soon as other start catch the ball they will be able to come back to him.

Call the drops what you want but they were drops.
