Dugas
Thompson

I would go Morgan at lead off, he’s been the hottest

Morgan
Crews
White
Beloso
Dugas
Jobert
Thompson
Milazzo
Pearson

But I doubt after winning the last 2 Johnson would want to change anything.

I like that lineup a lot. Morgan has been the most sure thing in this tournament and you have to have Thompson somewhere in the lineup, so I’d rather it not be a black hole right before the top of the lineup. The batting order makes sense and I want Milazzo to get the start tonight too

Pearson at the bottom works great because of his speed and hitting. Bit of a slump but he will break out when we need him most.

What exactly makes you think that? He is batting 1/17 with 8 K's. He has made quite a few bad errors and in the only game we lost, he left 9 runners on base! He also bunt popped out 2 times, which is truly more impressive than it is sad. I get that he may have had a few good games this year, but this is the world series, if you haven't produced ANYHING in the 4 games we have been here, it's time to try someone else!

You are talking about Thompson... The poster you quoted was talking about Pearson.

I agree, but I don't see Jay messing with things at the top of the lineup as long as LSU keeps winning.

Don't touch anything tonight, if they advance to the championship series against Florida then tinker away.

Thompson and Pearson have been issues. Thompson is 1-17 so enough said. Pearson is 1-13 but with a couple of walks and scored twice. I would keep Pearson at nine just for this. Get one or both of these two going and look out.

I'm down.

I personally liked when Tre hit 2nd and then Crews/White 3/4.

I'd love to see this batting order. Dugas and Morgan are making good contact in Omaha and White is in a bit of a funk so maybe juggling the order would help him.

Saw someone mention moving Beloso to 4 and White to 5 and that's a good move right now.

This is the only lineup I would use outside of the one they are using. And the point/reason Jay is using the one now is that he wants to give Crews better opportunities to hit. I like the lineup above if you move Crews and White to the 3 and 4 hole. But I still think Jay keeps the lineup the same.

He's framing pitches and stealing some strikes I believe.

Guys have to comfortable throwing to him as well knowing he's going to help them put.

Agree. With runs at a premium, it makes no sense having Thompson and Pearson in front of Crew and White right now.

They keep coming up with nobody to drive in.
