Thanks 5 for bringing some good rationale into this situation. Some ppl had their head stick so far up coach Os arse they can't think logically and see the future problems that this may present. O knew he was getting rid of these coaches yet he used them to pull the recruits they were able to pull that may have not came if they had this knowledge. It may have worked this time but what happens in the future with these recruits and their relationships with certain coaches.

Why does it look bad? Do you know why they were disciplined/fired?

Maybe something happened during recruiting and they couldn't be let go in the middle of recruiting season.

I know Craig was being talked about for other jobs. Was he looking for other jobs while he was supposedly recruiting? Hell, something happened.

No, he doesn't. He needs to not comment on personnel decisions. This will blow over soon. He's a new head coach and shouldn't be criticized for bringing in his own staff.

Wow. I didn't know Steve Bannon is a Tiger fan.

Players shouldn't be suspended by they should be talked to and punished in some way.
. Using your logic we will be in the sec basement in a few years. How many top guys are gonna line up to come play here if they can't even speak their mind without getting suspended. They didn't disrespect O. They're voicing their opinions on the matter which they have every right to do so. They are just as much a part of the program as these coaches are if not more. Guess you would be just fine watching the coaches play on Saturday tho.

All these HC'ing experts here telling Coach O what he should do. No one here knows the whole story & Coach O does, so it makes sense that he did what he did for a good reason. As for all the advice, pretty safe to say Coach O knows what he should do and has done it. He's been around the recruiting block his whole coaching career & knows exactly what do/not to do. People here have no clue as to what happened why.

Firing the coaches is not the issue. The timing is the issue.

No it's not. You fire people when it benefits you for them to be fired. Not when it benefits them.

Right because Bama is in the SEC basement and we all know how those players openly criticize Saban and tell him he is "stupid asf" on certain decisions on the twitter accounts. Dee Anderson has been nothing but trouble through HS and here so far and now I see why. He needs to be hammered for this stupidity.

Juluke is still on staff, no? Just administrative position.

I'm guessing the people saying the timing looks bad aren't referring to the inconvenience for the coaches, it's the likelihood that recruits were lied to and the move was made immediately after getting their signature.

Basically what happened to Brick Haley, another underperforming coach.

It's a "you're not fired, but go away as soon as possible " position.

. Ignorance is bliss. Im sure you see players criticizing Saban on social media right? No you know why cuz he's proven that he knows what he's doing. They are in the championship or championship contention every year. When belichick makes moves no one questions it you know why cuz he's proven he knows what he's doing. O not so much. So what has O done to prove that he's beyond questioning? And Dee isn't the only one that said something. And with all do respect he has a right to bcuz this actually affects him and it anyone on here that thinks they should just shut up and play.

Shitty to get rid of him following national signing day. However, other than Chark, I can't say our WRs looked good this year. And he was the WR coach...
