LSU is:

#5 in the conference in ERA
#3 in opponent batting average
#2 in strikeouts
#2 in HR allowed

They are also #11 in walks and dead last in wild pitches.

But let's not let facts get in the way of a good argument.

but this has been festering for several years. ... Yeskie needs to go,

You ranted about our pitching. We've had 4 pitching coaches in 4 years. Yeskie hasn't been here 12 months but you are wanting him fired b/c we haven't developed pitchers since skip left.

Look man. I like to drink on Fridays too. And with this being a holiday weekend, we'll cut you some slack. But you shouldn't be so drunk that you are shitposting on TD at lunch.

No way you played under Skip with this kind of baseball IQ. Yeskie has done amazing work. Look at the development of guys like Herring and heck Little may earn come back player of the year. Hurd has been up and down since he came back from his back issues dating back to UCLA. He has a live fast ball, a high RPM off speed, but can not replicate his pitching motion consistently and is too fast in the back half when he gets frustrated (which is often). Hurd is between the ears, not the coach. Bring another example to the table and we can talk.

Hurd’s issues are 100% mental.he doesn’t need more coaching, he needs a sports shrink. Which I’m sure he’s getting.

so these guys were developed, REALLY! They were phenomenal talent when arrived on campus, not much coaching needed just a good head doctor. All I am saying is with the exceptional talent that comes to LSU, your draft stock should never diminish. And by the way Skenes, Nola, and Lange all had personal pitching coaches, why would that be needed?

Skip retired in 2001. It’s 2024. Did you just wake up from a coma? We’ve had 3 coaches since then. Hell, we’ve had 4 pitching coaches in the last 4 seasons. Did you sleep through the careers of Louis Coleman, Anthony Ranaudo, Aaron Nola, Kevin Gausman, Alex Lange, Jared Poche, Landon Marceaux, Cole Henry, Jaden Hill, Ma’khail Hilliard, Paul Skenes, and Ty Floyd?

Ty Floyd: improved his fastball at LSU and added a 3rd pitch while being here

Alex Lange: developed knuckle curve and added velocity while here

Skenes: got better at EVERYTHING while here

Poche: was a nobody and developed into a stud while here

I mean, I really think you need to step away from the keyboard at this point bud.

Oh, I understand now. You're retarded. No need for anyone to attempt to refute him. Just let him scream into the void.

Hurd’s problem is executing consistently. I don’t think there is any argument about that. He was good for two innings last night…..and that is better than the last several.

Jump, Holman, Moffett, Ulloa, even Little has improved a lot. So there definitely has been development from the pitching squad.

Frankly, I believe Hurd just needs innings, but the season didn’t develop, once the league play began, in a way that would allow more innings for guys that fall behind and have control issues.
