It baffles the mind how Lee only saw garbage time snaps after the Bama game.

The offense was wildly ineffective in 2011 with JJ at the helm. The first half of the SECCG and the entire NCG being the best examples of that.

I know that Lee got rocked in the Bama game and he threw two pics, but he did a good job of leading the offense up to that point and it just didn't make sense to completely abandon him after that. JJ should have only been used situationally for the remainder of the season and maybe given the occasional drive or two. The fact that Lee wasn't even given a chance in the NCG after JJ performed so horrendously is a travesty and is squarely on the shoulders of Les. With how bad the offense was I don't even know if we beat Oklahoma State in that game if they didn't get screwed over.

wait...we won that game?

Remember that defense/TM7's return impact in almost every game, especially that one?

Georgia committed 3 turnovers, Mathieu returned a punt for TD ( ), Mo Claiborne had a pick 6 off Murray and we had scoring drives in the second half of:

26 yards, 17 yards, 70 yards and 93 yards

2011 defense and special teams were beyond ridiculous.

Offense? It was hit or miss.

Matthieu should’ve won the heisman that year walking away. Without him, that 2011 season never happens. He was as instrumental in that 2011 undefeated season as Burrow is to this run.

It’s unbelievable the defense held UGA to 10 points. Even with Wing punting, you know UGA had to start with excellent field position every possession. Only 1 punt was from outside our 20 yard line

Look, I hate posting this because Lee could not help it, but the Bama game exposed him as a physical coward. Bama hit him late with a blitz up the middle, and Lee had no more interest in playing quarterback against Bama. The coaches would have been nuts to put him in

God, this offense with that special teams and defense would have been the greatest team of all time.

Also, can’t believe some of you supported that dolt Miles as long as you did.

They started their first drive on their 38, drove 40 yards and kicked a FG.

They started at midfield for their second drive and drove 24 yards, missed a FG.

Their third drive was the killer - because we had that 3-play, -2 yard drive from our 8 back to the 6, they only had to drive 44 yards for the TD after the punt.

We kept them on their side of the field for most (maybe all) of the rest of the game. That defense was ridiculous, even with PP already in the league at that point.

Shouldn't the defense have been worn out after all of these short 2 minute drives? Asking for a friend.

I don’t give a shite he played for our Tigers, Jordan Jefferson is a tPOS and I will always loathe him. This has nothing to do with race because I still like Rohan and Jamarcus for their LSU careers. Downvote away.

Burrow has eclipsed Jefferson’s entire 4 year career just this season

Any other opponent and that’s a 14-0 NC season regarded as one of the best seasons in CFB history.

Makes me sick thinking about it. Miles was so damn stubborn he wouldn't even get Lee 1 series and try quick slants and screens to slow Bama down. Anyone watching that game could see what the adjustments needed to be but his Pride cost LSU that trophy.
