May be his lucky shirt? He took quite hit in that game, and it has been said that that is when the team really stepped up and considered him the leader. He's a superstitious fellow.

I've picked up on this as well. The bracelets / wrist bands he has on never come off whether he is playing Alabama or picking up trophy hardware. Love this guy.

If I had to guess, he probably rocks it often because that was a huge win for LSU. Maybe it wasn't much of an opponent, but the stage was the biggest in 7 years at the time. NY6 bowls don't come around everyday. It's the equivalent of the 2006 Sugar Bowl. But as for the future, I hope he's rocking his 2019 National Championship hoodie!

I think he was asked last night what superpower he would like, and he said teleportation..........so he could just be in New York instead of boarding another plane

I thought it could either be this, or a constant reminder of him only making it to the Fiesta bowl last year and not the CFP. Sort of on the same line as the revenge tour mentality.
