His methods may have been passed by. He used to use a formula with returning production, recruiting talent, schedule, etc to formulate a predicted finish and it was pretty good. In today’s game, I’m not sure it’s that easy to predict anymore

It's impossible to use the old stuff with the transfer portal now. Especially when say a lower G5 WR comes into an SEC/B10 school somewhere who had a 1k yard season the previous year, does that count the same as a 1k yard season of a returning SEC/B10 school? How much do you discount that if so? Etc...
