Those first couple rounds are always physical freaks that GM’s get enamored with.
You are just flat out wrong.

Fulton is a heck of a good CB, but as slow as he is I have a hard time seeing him going before the 25th pick
“As slow as he is”??
Goodness I thought your CEH evaluation was bad. You have no clue what you are talking about. Ever. Shut your dumb arse up please

Delpit’s tackling issues are baffling. Only thing I can think of is that he’s playing hurt

I’m really surprised Jacob Phillips isn’t getting more love. He’s having a really nice season
His total tackle numbers are high, but he really hasn't made many special plays or stood out on the field in any game. For the past two years when you watched D. White he was flying around making big plays everywhere. This year it seems like when one of the ILB's makes a (rare) "splash play" it is generally Queen. And overall the ILB's have had their troubles missing assignments; shooting to the wrong gaps, etc.
Physically is he what you want in an ILB (and he'll eventually get drafted because of that), but he hasn't been all that instinctive. At least compared to some other great ILB's that have played at LSU.

Phillips’ Soph tape was better than what he is putting on tape now. Showed better range & tackling. He hasn’t done much this year outside of the box. He’s been slow getting to the edges.
He was disruptive on blitzes last year too, but they haven’t used him much in that capacity.

This is a, "stay in school," grade from the NFL Draft Advisory Board. But I am guessing he will come out. Even if CEH leaves, there's not going to be as much balls to go around as I think we get more balance out of the playcalling.
Also, Chase and Marshall are not getting worse, and betting on an injury to get a chance to get to WR2 or WR1 reps while not banking on the young pups like Palmer to continue to develop and put pressure on you from below is a tough one.
I think he's gone.

That’s not a draft advisory board.
PFF= pro football focus

Not saying he hasn’t been good in some games but he is no tackling machine like previous middle linebackers we have had.
Could it be LSU has been so far ahead tha tteams are abandoning the run which limits the opportunities for tackles? Games were closer last year.

Huh. He's only missed 2 tackles in 96 attempts. This guy is playing lights out football. Highest defensive game grade in the linebacker room.

I don’t know what games these guys are watching. If they think Queen is outplaying Phillips they’re freaking blind. I can’t trust anything they say about football after that.

Fulton slow????? Where are you hearing this. Dude is one of the fastest guys on the team. Easily 4.40 guy. Also , everyone knows Delphit has been playing with a injured ankle and earlier in the year he had a dislocated shoulder. Once he heals up, he will not be missing tackles.
You don't forgot how to tackle as his level!

Each position on the field has a specific job and instincts are not involved. Players playing by instinct is the cause of all the big plays against LSU's defense
Posted on 11/25/19 at 8:55 pm to tigerbait2010
He's got the NFL LB size too
Posted on 11/25/19 at 9:14 pm to Bigfig
He just doesn’t cover ground well enough, not enough speed to be on the field in obvious passing downs.

Some things don’t need to be explained. Ignorant is a word. Look ??

What do u mean only thing you can think of is he is hurt?
Delpit is def hurt.
Doubt he falls past pick 22
A guy isnt an all everything safety one year then just forgets how to tackle the next
Delpit will be fine
