Kyren Lacy is a few drops away from being elite. Why too high? He's a big body elite route running WR that fights for extra yardage and catches through contact.

He has great moves and speed once he catches the ball. His hands and mental mistakes are his problems. He"s a weapon through even with those issues.

Love seeing Zy get the love he deserves.

Very quietly one of the best players on this team!

Mason Taylor - 85th, Round 3

Will be a 10 year NFL TE, barring injury. Just so consistent.

Agree. He needs to run well to boost his stock. He's got great hands for a TE, has made a ton of tough catches.

If I'm the GM of a TE needy team and Mason is available at the back end of the 2nd round, you better believe I'm sprinting to the podium. It's always a crapshoot, even with elite prospects, to determine how successful a player will be in the pros. But Taylor is as a safe bet to be a multi contract player as you will find in my opinion.

NFL teams want to see him at guard

That would actually be funny, because people were basically called retarded for wanting to see him move inside to kick Heard out to tackle.

I wanted to see him at C, even before Chester's struggles this year.

Kyren Lacy has great route running lmao. The drops are a concern, but bringing up route running is idiotic

If that’s legit on Mason he def should come back.

But I doubt it is.

NFL drafts college tackles all the time to move to guard. This is such a weird angle for him to come back.

It would. It would be like wanting to see a solid boundary corner come back to play the nickel. You would be asking someone capable of playing a premium position to play a less premium position just to see if he can do it.

This is proving to me that you have no idea what you’re talking about. His biggest strength is his route running and ability to get open

He’s good at getting open on broken plays and finding greenspace to help the QB. His actual route running is not “great”.

What is the big difference for a guard than a tackle? I could see then wanting to see a guard at tackle to see his foot work on edge but as far as a guard, tackles pull, tackles also block in tight areas when pulling too. What would moving him to guard show that he hasn't shown already?

NFL guys also aren't going to ask an all sec corner to move from corner to nickel in college to see if he can. Especially if that corner was a CB2 and could showcase himself as CB1.

Hot take: Lance Heard comes back via the portal to start at LT for us.

You do realize he was one of the worst LTs in the entire country this year, right?

That’s my point, I’m agreeing with you.

Really happy for him after the tough injury last season. He’s played his arse off this season.

He just needs to become a more consistent run blocker. He’s definitely improved there, but just to an average level for a TE. With the NFL roster limits, you can’t just be a pass catcher at TE.
