You're absolutely right! On the 4th and goal touchdown, he was standing there watching as the RB scored on 2nd effort. If Perk would've just grabbed him, he could've prevented the td. I've pretty much have had it with him!

Not only does he loaf, but I've seen multiple film studies that make me think he doesn't know what he is supposed to do on some plays.

And The Valley Shook did a good breakdown on him after the Vandy game, and yeah, he's lost out there.

Basically they said he hurts the defense if you try to use him as an every down player, be it WLB or Star/ SLB and he should be used situationally.

This is the new era of college football. Happens at all schools with kids and high draft grades. Another reason so many opt out of bowl games

I think it's enough blame to go around, the LB unit has been a huge disappointment. You let Deebo Atkins walk, he could have been huge for this defense. He's faster and more instinctive than any LB on our roster, remind me of Deebo and D. White.

Perkins film is shite. He wont go 3rd. Not sure what position he could play. Not DB. NOT later, except for situational passing coverages, which again, this year, he has shown very little in that area....actually bad

I've talked to 4-5 scouts at multiple games this season and they've all said he's a middle 3rd to 4th round pick. The biggest question mark is where to play him.

Budda Baker is a good comparison

Yeah, I’m just about over the Harold Perkins experience.

I realize that...but putting him in a certain round, without clearly knowing how he'll contribute , is quite retarded for them to say that.

There are 100s of kids every year that are tweeners that never make the draft or contribute.

On top of that, hes a lazy frick who takes plays off and is out of position, then doesnt hustle.

Sorry my friend, he basically sucks

Auburn and LSU 2 different responsibilities as LBs. Baker has the LBs reading where Auburn is a one gap. You can tell when the LBs in Bakers defense are taking those first I tail small steps where Auburn allows them to be more aggressive.

His size and speed is akin to the RB this team needed but I guess he envisions himself to be a defender

You're right, NFL scouts know literally knowing about football and where he's projected to get drafted. I'll tell them ChatGPT of LA said you're retarded

Agree. I think he will slip into the 3rd round when/if he runs sub 4.5 at the combine. GM's can't help themselves when it comes to the 40, they over-emphasize it.

This.

There is simply zero reason to play Perkins, Chester, Nuss, or Sharp..but there they go, out there every play. Bobby Knight said it best, if you are having trouble with players or effort....arse meets bench fixes it every time.
