This is dumb.

And quite frankly it doesn't matter.

Be careful now, if you mention anything about Jefferson this Choctaw bitch will get her panties in a wad.

JL already got his shot vs. bama. There was no reason to give him another

Just when I thought you couldn't get any more fricking stupid.

Mett had a knee brace/support on one or both knees during pre-game warm ups, which was the last I saw of him. I posted then asking if there was something wrong with his knee but I guess in the aftermath of that game, nobody cared.

Miles is lying. I know the trainer at LSU personally. Mett was not being treated in December or January for any injury.

Come on we all know Miles is a liar. You should burn with him for offering evidence that Mett was hurt.

Although... hmmmm.... never heard of a knee brace for a cut on the hand. JC Copeland must have mistaken him for a LB!

Other than 1 particular pass, I have not seen where Lee had ever 'redeemed' himself against Bama. Just don't see where.

There's a reason for that.

What does a knee brace have to do with a hand injury? Btw Mett had a knee brace on in the spring game.

So Miles ADMITS that he should have and would have played a QB other than JJ...
Sounds to me like he is saying. . .Mett was the better option for 1-9, but JJ was the better option over JL.

I'm going to try something risky and attempt to interpret a Miles'ism:

"Had Mett not sustained a hand-injury earlier in the season that limited his reps, he could've played some even on 1/9."

Yes, and the O line was at least putting up a fight in the 1st game. In the 2nd, that same O line was MIA.

Line MIA only because Saban knew we had NO passing game with JJ. So you go to max run defense and dare us to throw. When we did he couldn't find or hit a receiver. No surprise there- same problem in 3 games before NCG.
We should have seen it coming after poor offensive performance in SECCG 2nd half.

I know I'm late to the party here but my mind and I'm sure most of your minds would have been absolutely blown if I saw Mett come in the game on 1/9.

I might have thrown up on the dude in front of me, seriously.

Did you watch the game? That was the worst QB performance I have ever seen, and I am getting old and have seen lots of football.

It is not possible that we didn't have another QB that could be tried in that game.
JJ threw 6 incompletes in 17 attempts and this is the worst QB outing your old arse has ever seen?

Are you too old to recall the one vs the very same team 2 months earlier, where the starting QB threw 4 incomplete in 7 attempts, and 2 of those were to the opponent.

JJ played great in the Arkansas game. Les was waiting for the defense/special teams to make a play and for JJ to play like he did against Arkansas where he played really well. It just never happened.

Poor coaching, no doubt. You can't just wait for something to happen. You have to force the issue.

Mett was not hurt. This is a cya PR move by Les. He thinks he can outsmart people.
