Dude lasted exactly one season as OC and was fricking horrible at it. So what does O do? Hires him as an offensive analyst

Not a fan of O’s hires. He’s fortunate Aranda was already here.

Jimbo Fisher went 5-6 last year. So what does A&M do? Give him a 10 year $75 million contract.

Fisher can afford a down season given his overall record and stature. His name alone should attract great recruits.

Wait a sec, there was a huge thread (actually a couple) that heaped praise, rightfully so on the hiring of Kevin Faulk.

Adding a former tiger and Super Bowl champion to the staff, even off-field was roundly praised.

Posters analyzed it and praised it.

When you add a guy like Munoz, with a sketchy record why isn’t it fair to analyze whether or not he will be a good addition to the staff?

It’s not a melt. Or are you suggesting that no mattter who O hires we should all bow down and say how great it is?

There are good hires, bad hires and meh hires and everything in between.

At best he is a meh type hire.

he's going to hire the best offensive coordinator in the country and let him run his offense. Well that doesn't happen cause evidently O wouldn't allow Canada to do what he was brought here to do

For one half of one game. After getting waxed 37-7 by MS St the week before I don't see a problem with trying to simplify the offense for the young players.

Yep, Eaux needs to go back to the Les days of not saying anything. It seems the more informed the idiots are the more they bitch about being informed.

Gone are the good ole days when Les would be asked a question, answer for 10 minutes and leave the whole room shaking their heads wondering "what the hell was that? What was the question again?"

Seems like everyone likes the Faulk hire, but I wasn't really referring to that in terms of displeasure with coach O's position hires. I understand though, because this is simply offensive analysts. Just was hoping for someone with a bit more success or a bigger name, but this is kind of what to expect it seems lately.

You didn't like the Pete Jenkins hire?

Matt Canada?

Tommie Robinson? If you didn't, you will after the 2019 class. He will get to put his 2016 #2 national recruiter ranking to the test with some good RB's.

James Cregg?

Kevin Faulk?

You were hoping for someone else? Did you even know LSU was going to hire an offensive analyst?

I don't have an issue with being upset over SE or Sullivan. But this is an analyst position. He helps break film down, maybe goes to meetings of the offensive unit. Overall, his job is to lessen the workload of the coaches.
I equate this position to High School football where the feeder middle school coaches help the HS coaches. Obviously at a higher level, but at this point you are just looking for reasons to pout.
He is an analyst. He sucked calling plays. Maybe he can breakdown film ok. If so than who cares.
Next we are going to hear complaints about the new group of managers coming in.

The guy that is charge of the wire that runs to the coaches' headset pisses me off. He looks confused like he doesn't know what he is doing. He also was not sought after by anyone other than LSU. They need to fire that guy and find a wire/cable manager that is sought after.

So hiring a guy who in eight games on the job set four all-time school records, averaged 465 yards and 32 points per game cancels out all of the good hires he has made?

As long as he makes sure the wire that goes to O's headset is unplugged, I think he's doing a great job.

You really can't. Specifically, how does hiring this guy align with CEOs "hiring the best coordinators in CFB" vow?

Yes I do. It's not people have been clamoring to know who the offensive analyst would be since then. That was just to hire Freeze and not fill a position.

Now out of the blue LSU hires someone and rant goes TARD over it.
