It’s one of the biggest reasons I like this teams upside, still FAR from a finished product.

We have 2 home game lay ups and a bye before ole miss. Thats like 25 days of training/improving/organizing, pretty much an entire summer camp.

TLDR, we might be a much different & much better team in a month.

We lost our only game of the season, so far, for none of those reasons.

We lost to USCX because the single most experienced, and supposed strength of the team, couldn’t run block effectively. And… after seeing Caden Durham run this past Saturday, the coaches failed to identify that he was our best RB in Fall camp.

Wasn't everyone praising House year 1, it was our defense that mainly got us 10 wins.

I still have no idea what happened with house. His halftime adjustments were masterful. Last year he just fell apart. But to your point, LSU needed more offense in 22 and more defense in 23, and either year could’ve been a championship. Especially 23.

And a defense that forgets to tackle. Soft secondary, would rather thump than tackle.

Yeah they might have ran effectively in practice , but look at the DL they were running against ,plus we just found our best back Durham.

Next year we'll be breaking in a new OL, new DL, etc.

There's always an excuse for any college team.

There's a difference though between breaking in new 5 star players who are young and simply not having them at all.

I agree. The cubbard has been bare at certain positions the last couple years. Not now. They are just young. The DL will be very good for years to come now. OL recruiting has been incredible. The LSU stafff is building it the right way. We just need to win some games this year to keep the 2025 class together and playoffs yearly here we come.

Bama just replaced the entire staff.
This isn't even true. DeBoer He had 6 coaches either stay on staff or join him from Washington. He also kept his quarterback.

Texas lost Bo Davis and they are doing just fine.
Replacing a defensive line coach =/= what LSU did.

Ohio St just got Chip Kelly.

And struggled in the first half in their opener against Akron.

USC got a new DC.

They got an elite DC and gave up 7 less points than we did.

I can go on and on... stop making excuses for this staff.

It's not wrong to acknowledge the fact that we turned things over this year, then had probably the toughest schedule to start the season in the country.

Many people on this board have said this all offseason. There were also a ton of delusional people that thought we would have a top 15 offense just because

If it weren't for the lack of run game (which was not expected) we would have one right now. And by the end of the year we still might. So it's not delusional.

It’s not my fault that you couldn’t see that losing Jayden Daniels would have a negative effect on the run game.

They didn't forget they are just miserable entitled bitches. And all they can do is mention how much BK is paid as if that is the key to everything bad. So if he was paid 5 mil a year then they wouldn't bitch?LOL. Most of these guys have never ran anything in their lives much less played high level sports. And their lives are so empty that LSU is all they have. It's actually pretty pathetic.

Seriously? Having a multitude of backs and supposedly "the best oline in the country" shouldn't require a running QB Heisman or not to have a running game. And we not only didn't have a good one we had a non-existent one. Nobody in their right mind could have predicted that.
