If you want to get rid of Miles empty seats is the way to do it. Local businesses will be screaming bloody murder.

I'm not going to spend any money watching that crap. I'd rather a root canal with no novacain. Its a lot faster.

Have y'all posted your tickets on the ticket exchange yet? If so, I'm interested in a few games. My kids have zero concern about the "noise from the perimeter." They just want to cheer the Tigers to "victory" and support the "quality" young men representing the fine institution.

I know losing sucks, but it isn't the players fault. I won't abandon my fandom to have a coach fired. I was going to games back when we sucked as well. I'm in it for life.

I'm going to go tailgate. If I feel like walking in, I will.... for a little while.

I'm sure there's a lot of apathy on the part of the fans and it will show Saturday. Go peruse stubhub if you think this one's gonna be a capacity crowd.

Tiger Stadium will continue to draw big crowds, and as long as they make their money we will have status quo.

What do you mean by "done?"

Done showing up and filling the seats, or done buying tickets? Giving them up I mean?

I ask, because I think if you REALLY want to make a point, you'd stop buying tickets. After all, it's the money that fuels the program and it what ultimately matters. If it's just empty seats, I'm not seeing how you think that'll matter all that much so long as the money pours in.

I'm really just trying to see how committed you are to change.

Even when we win its not fun to watch. DVR the game and watch the whole thing on fast forward.

We usually get 3 or 4 hotel rooms for Fri and Sat night, we always eat at Ruths, TJs or Mikes. We buy concessions at the game, buy booze and tailgate food locally etc.

If enough people stay away it will have an immediate impact in addition to empty seats that the camera will focus on.

The one that really matters. All that other stuff takes times to filter, and it's not like Ruth's hurting is gonna make the LSU AD make a change.

Like I said...this feels like a half measure designed to make both a statement AND keep cherished tickets. I get it. I'm not giving my tickets up for anything. BUT...if I felt as strongly as many of you, I likely would because I think ultimately it's the one and fastest thing that will have an impact.

As for now, I support this plan if only because it'll make seating more comfortable and be less bitching in Tiger Stadium...the thing that has had more impart on my enjoyment for years now.

(None of that ought to be any indication that I'm in ANY WAY happy with the program after the Wisky game...)

For anyone who wants to give away their tickets, I'll take a couple and go to the games. I will travel from Florida to go. I grew up during the Cholly Mac, Curley Hallman and Gerry DiNardo eras, so losing is not an alien concept to me. But I am in the last third of my life and would love to go, because I will always love my LSU Tigers.

Thats exactly what it is and all I can do at this point. LSU football will be fun again.

Honestly missing the games is not much of a sacrifice, its bad football.
