You get that worked up when someone adds an S to the end of a career backup quarterback’s name? There are more people who don’t even know who Chase Daniel is

I’d like to message with a clever comment, but I’m too busy shopping at Walmarts.

My dad 100% does this.

He did it at first not knowing any better, and now that I say it bothers me when he says it like that, he does it all the time now just to piss me off.

Smart arse.

“New Braunsfels.”

Why do people add an unnecessary S on certain words/names/cities? And it’s not an isolated incident when 20 percent of the population do it.

The "S" happens:

quote:

1936 Charles E. Daniels born Oct. 28 at James Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina after the hospital put “S” on the end of his last name Daniel.

People adding an “S” to the end of “Burrow”...
...Makes me irrationally angry. I know it’s dumb, but it drives me nuts.

That's literally the same thing as adding an X to -eau endings, such as Boudreaux, Arceneaux and Breaux. It makes the word plural. "The Burrows" refers to the family, not an individual, just as adding an X at the end of the French word "Boudreau" makes it plural, "The Boudreaux" refers to the family, not an individual.

What grinds my gears is when people add an X to the end of "Geau". There is no plural form of "Go".

This will really piss you off

I kinda think it’s funny

I also like using “the” before things

Like “I’m going to the Rouses”

“It was on the TigerDroppings”
