In dumpster fire stats. Some eye-popping numbers for the $2.3 million man. Even more sickening that these stats are skewed from the Vandy game.
Out of 103 FBS teams, LSU ranks:
- 98th in passing yds allowed (335.2 yds/game)
- 94th in passing efficiency defense (168.44)
- 89th in total defense (478.6 yds/game, 7.19 yds/play)
- 80th in 3rd down conversion rate defense (47%)
- 73rd in scoring defense (33.6 pts/game)

and they haven't even faced a great offense.

That is the craziest part. Auburn is the first team that was able to just create mismatches for themselves. I have no idea what Alabama, A&M, and Florida are gonna do.

Haven’t played a ranked team yet.

ESPN FPI Offense Rankings
1. Alabama
4. Florida
6. Ole Miss
13. Texas A&M
27. Auburn (48 pts)
35. South Carolina (24 pts)
43. Missouri (45 pts)
48. Arkansas
94. Vanderbilt (7 pts)
96. Mississippi State (44 pts)
The bolded teams are the ones we have to still play. Jesus that looks horrifying. We haven’t even played the top offenses yet

This might not look nearly as bad now as it will after we play Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss and A&M.

Bo didn't forget how to scheme a defense. It's not his fault Clark, Stevens, etc are playing poorly. And those players certainly aren't less talented than other teams' players that have fared better. This is a heart issue and that starts up top.

Bo hasn’t coached a good defense in 10 years and has never been good against spread offenses

I don't care how shitty these kids are playing, or their lack of heart, or inexperience. A team with this much talent shouldn't be losing to bottom dwellers like Missouri and Miss. St., or getting skull crushed by an average Auburn team. Then beyond the losses, look at all the stats where we're near the bottom of all teams. And for icing on the cake, he's the third highest paid DC in the country. Absolutely inexcusable coaching.

Alabama will probably gain 900 yards and give LSU it's worst defeat ever.
In the last 20 years no defending champ has started so poorly and looked so bad. Too much partying and gloating in the off-season.
