I have yet to see anyone name a better coach than CPM. If he is so replaceable surely someone should have a name by now.

No one will ever do what skip did again. The 90s were an awesome time to be a LSU fan but let’s be real. The competition nowadays is light years ahead of where it was 20 years ago.

Exactly and we're lucky that is the expectation every year. Had 7 straight national seeds coming into this year and the story this season was we were due for a down year with our luck and the injury bug. Walker and Smith have missed the entire season. They'd have gotten us a few extra wins for sure.

And still we're just a blown lead away from sweeping Arkansas and winning series against Ole Miss and being in second place in the SEC right now. LSU would be a top 20 team competing for hosting a regional right now had they held on late in just those 2 games
