Miles had been on a downward slope for a few years. Mainieri is coming off of 7 consecutive national seeds and a Championship appearance. Schools would be firing their current coaches to hire Paul.

Mediocrity? Are you serious? You're calling LSU baseball mediocre and pumping LSU football at the same time. How many top 10 finishes has each coach had in their career? One is definitely a mediocre coach.
