He may or may not, but that wasn't the point. Mainieri has been highly successful in his sport. Orgeron has not. Think about this, the SECCG was created in '92 and only one of the original West teams has yet to make it there. Orgeron is the WORST head coach in the history of that program. The 2 coaches are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum.

Where I think you are confused is that I don't think the vast majority think O should have been fired after last season. HOWEVER, a lot of people think he should have never been hired in the first place.
If you can't comprehend that, and understand why, then I don't know what to tell you. No reason to hate CPM because of it though.

I don’t hate CPM. Just think his time is up. We are LSU not a team who loses midweek games and is under 500 in the SEC. His facial feature resemble a coach who has lost his shine. Time for a new regime. I understand his winning record but I don’t think things are looking better for the future.

What did i say about O personally? I've never once said that I wouldn't say something bad about him as a coach.

You realize Skip lost a ton of midweek games as well right?
You also realize this team is in the thick of things for post season play right?
You realize this team is coming off of taking the series against a top 10 team last weekend rightM
You realize LSU is only two games back of the western division lead right?
Oh yeah, and this is on an injury plagued, down season for LSU baseball. This isn't the norm... And our "down year" is still WAY better than most of the rest of college baseball.

Certainly has been a bad year, but with his track record, no need to do anything stupid. Same as keeping Miles around after the '12-'14 seasons. If CPM has another season or 2 like this in a row, then we can talk about other options. My guess is that won't happen though.
Eta: Bad year for Paul. Decent year for other coaches.
