While they're at it, it's time to stop the WOKE LIBTURDS who keep me from getting sufficient cheese and peppers in my nachos.

So LSU has a unigue, beautiful Siberian Tiger that lives in a multimillion dollar habitat that gets great veterinary care but you only get to see a picture of him eating the opponents' mascot's meat( gator meat, hog meat, etc.) every week of football season.

Boring stuff like other SEC schools do like fly jets over their football fields or parachute people in pregame. WOW, thrilling stuff huh ?

I say that is a waste of a PRICELESS mascot but you small minded people continue on like our stupid Administration afraid to boldly step forward and publicize our great mascot.

So a tiger in an enclosure is going to instill fear in opposing fans and players? Do they tremble in fear when they visit his habitat? The zoo must be their greatest nightmare.

Please stop with these senseless "Mike In The Stadium" posts. I really wish the admins would create a separate board for these things, so that the few of you could go there to stomp your feet and wring your hands.

Never forcing Mike to go to the games was a condition of getting Mike in the first place.

He did, however, get Baker to promise that Mike VI would not be forced into the trailer to attend games if he was unwilling, a promise Baker has kept to the disappointment of LSU fans who love the tradition of having Mike in Tiger Stadium before games.

"He assured me there would be caretakers on hand and the veterinary staff would be there at a drop of a hat and would be in no way exploited or mistreated," Cotner said.

They have never tried with the current Mike. How do we know he was unwilling?

Many visiting players have been quoted over the years about how different it was to walk out of the locker room and see a live Bengal (Siberian) Tiger sitting there.

Yes, it added to the atmosphere in Tiger Stadium.

What in the hell are you talking about? I agree the topic has been beat to death. Mike is never coming into the stadium and rightfully so.

Why the frick would I want to do that?

It is absolutely amazing that people actually believe a tiger roaring is unhealthy for a tiger. This younger generation whom never seen Mike on the field is concerning.

In a thread full of dumb comments, this one may take the cake. You think the world was more sheltered 50 years ago than now?

“different” is a nice way of saying mildly amusing. A brief “huh” moment at best. No one was afraid of that tiger.
