Overturned "scoop and score" for OSU...what are the thoughts?

Looked to me that he had possession and took three steps, but was overturned as he did not have "football move" or something to that effect. Still don't understand why it was overturned

More failure by SEC refs. Color me shocked.

I don't know what a catch is in football anymore.

Looked like it should have been a fumble to me. I can almost kind of see where they get incomplete but that’s a stretch

God spoke to the replay official

I think it could have gone either way. It didn’t look like he ever really tucked it away and, although it wasn’t blown, he never established forward progress from the initial point he touched the ball.
Really tough, but I’m glad they let the play finish and took time to get it right or at least a fair look.

I think even Clemson fans will admit that it was a blown call.

I don’t see how they overturned it so quickly.

Fumble, reviewed by sec officials and they fricked it up. lol

It's the same that happened to Jefferson on his drop/fumble...
I dont think the ruling is steps, it's the ball into control...

SEC refs were having flash backs to the call in the A&M game.

Never had control.

You, sir, need to go back and watch the play again!

So if you never tuck it away and carry it like a loaf of bread does that mean you can’t fumble?

From what I've heard the only action that constitutes a catch is making a "football move". Steps, tucking the ball, none of it apparently matters until you try to juke, cut, stiff arm, etc...

I thought the overturn was correct. I saw it as an incompletion. Could have gone either way though IMO

I thought it was incomplete at real speed. But it could have gone either way.

The best part of our game was no SEC refs.
