With how awful DB play has been the last few years, I won’t believe anything is solved until I see it.

Do you not see the difference in talent we have at DB compared to any point of the BK era?

I get the whole BK hasn’t won anything shtick but at this point you just look ignorant.

Overall gel of the defense. There’s a lot of new pieces and coverages/assignments can easily get blown against an experienced offense like Clemson’s.

I’m not too concerned about safety now that we picked up a solid starter. I think Toviano gives us a good enough floor that the position won’t be a glaring weakness. But safety is still my answer, because we are loaded everywhere else. Maybe kicker.

Not necessarily week 1 but behind Weeks, we have 2 decent players in Keys and West Weeks and then a bunch of unknowns.

Kicker

Dude has a boss Instagram page.

He might not be SEC talent level, but he lives it up like no other kicker in the country. Pretty awesome.

Not one video of him with a kicking coach…which seems insane, but I love the confidence. If he gets close to 80% we should count our blessings…it’s not going to get better when he’s gone.

The coaching position

This. Will coaches have them actually ready for Week 1 like its a game that counts or just a glorified scrimmage? It seems under CBK that they sleep walk through game 1.

Clemson will have a legit passing offense. I hope LSU will be ready, because Clemson is a much better team than USC last year.

No doubt about that. They very well could be the best QB and WR room we face all season, they have some legit dudes with a confident kid in Klubnik throwing them the ball. There will be no easing in for the new secondary pieces that are being added they will be thrown into the fire right off the bat.

Agree on o-line and DB's. I also want to see a healthy Caden Durham on the field for 80% of the snaps/carries. And with a questionable O-line, it is likely there will not be gaping holes to run thru. When one does open, I want the ball in his hands.

I think its the coaching staff and their inability to prepare for the first game. Look at their first game record.
