I'm in Boston. Been here about 2 1/2 years. There's a pretty big LSU contingent up here, and the majority of people up here couldn't care less about college football. So it's generally pretty good.

That said, after our losses to Alabama, I always seem to find the one gump sidewalker who has to run his mouth.

Tree-hugging dirt-worshipper Boulder CO Tiger here ("Obama country" )

With CU's success in PAC-12 last year, college football fans woke up in this area. Most are respectful, even envious, when they find out I'm from LSU.

No one gets the "football-is-religion" thing. When I am in a pissy mood the days following a loss, they don't get it.

I'm going to be in Houston next week, and I'm planning on at least two home games this year -- can't wait to be elbow-to-elbow in P&G!

Grew up in New Orleans, moved to Little Rock after Katrina. Parents wouldn't let me go out of state for college so I go to Arkansas. To this day I have not missed an LSU arkansas game since 2005 wearing P&G every event. I think I am the only U of A student with a tiger eye flag in my dorm room, and with LSU attire in the student section for every hog tiger game. There's just something about bleeding that P&G.

Moved to south Texas 28 years ago, from Louisiana wore my P&G all the time, was asked many times why I didn't root for the Aggies or horns, always told them I liked football. My crew at the nuke plant was made up with 2 I&C craft, 2 elect. craft and 2 millwrights. with a supv. Supv. was a hog fan, electrician was a Bama fan and I was LSU got pretty heated during football season. Parents lived in Miss. but I was born in Baton Rouge (mom wanted a new dress to wear after I was born.) At family reunions in Miss. they ask why I choose LSU over the miss schools, told them I wanted to learn to read and write so I went with Louisiana, I have not been invited back for years now. I moved back to LA last year and got season football tickets so I may invite some of my confused friends to watch their team lose in Death Valley.

I agree. Most fans in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area like LSU as we're not in competition for recruits and seldom play. Also, LSU is regarded as the best tailgating team ever...even in Happy Valley. Also you bastards play great football and often have the nation's best hope of beating Darth Saban...and, yes, you guys are blessed with lovely women as well.

Just wondering where some of my fellow Tiger fans call home and how bad you get ragged on. I've lived in Arkansas for the past 7 years and get a daily dose of Hog fans talking out their arse. This time of the year they always get worse.

I've been to pretty much every SEC venue minus 3, and some of them multiple times.

Arkansas fans are far and away the worst to LSU fans. Being a 5'6" LSU fan in Fayetteville warrants random, huge BAWS that just want to fight on Dickson for no reason. I have a lot of great friends from there that are hospitable, but all in all their fans really are some salty bitches towards LSU

Near Pensacola. The Bama fans around here are the worst. Even the Florida fans are not nearly as obnoxious as the Bama ones.

I'm in Boulder, too. The CU fans aren't yet schooled in mad enthusiasm as we are. Have fun in Houston.

Honestly, I very rarely hear much about football directed to me outside of rare questions/jabs like "why can't they ever have a QB?" etc.

Just have to hear about Alabama and Auburn every single day on radio. That part is awful.

The Landmass is open territory. Very diverse in terms of college football loyalties.

Not taking nothing from in state fans but when you root for LSU and you are out of state it refines and defines you. Colors run deeper!

Huntsville, AL here. I wear P&G just about every day and fly the Tiger Eye out front proudly.(It's just the most bad-assed logo there is!)
That said, bammers are without a doubt the most arrogant, obnoxious sob's on the planet. We have a good presence up here though, so it's bearable usually.
Auburn ain't much more civilized but they're more easily cowed by snide comebacks.
Bama fans are usually silenced by the ugly reminder of frat boy crying in the stands. :)
Just glad they still hate UT more than anything else.
Waiting on another 9-6-er! Geaux Tigers!
