Our WRs love JD5 and it was put on display in Jayden's 85 yard run

Gators will say it's holding, but Nabers and the DB were both locked up. #1 WR in the country helping setup the massive run for Jayden. 40 yards across the field, BTJ, a top 10 WR in the country, made the move to cut off the DB covering him, as seen below:

But I thought the WRs hated Jayden?

I loved that. Nabers basically took out 2 defenders with his block. And you could tell he was giving it his all to hold the block.

Not saying they dislike Jayden at all… but this game was pretty chippy, like Florida tends to be.

Im pretty sure peewee herman could have been running the ball and the entire team was gonna find someone on Florida to dominate.

It's so easy for a WR on the opposite side of the play to just stand there and do nothing. That's a top notch effort play by BTJ to stick with it and help block 45 yards down field.

Just a few months ago, there were several on here who said Jayden throws uncatchable balls and even that it was fault Taylor got hurt.

Good post except the end... when was the last time speculation existed about the wr's not liking JD? Last year? Florida state game? One is the national receiving yards leader and one is the receiving TD leader. You could've just said that if your point was to prove they like JD.

Brian Thomas Jr has been blocking like that since he stepped on campus. His parents raised a very solid kid.

There might be a 10% chance kelly and hankton could sell him on coming back next yr to be the focal point of the passing game.

Imo he is going to go in the 2nd round if he comes out this yr.

If both Thomas and nabers leave, the wr room will be super young and inexperienced.

Hilton, lacy, and Anderson would be your starters. Not good.

I do think the next crop of elite receivers are already on campus. They just need to play.

I know we have had different staffs at LSU but our WR have always blocked well. Probably a big reason they all seem to last in the NFL.

I’m having trouble understanding the sect of posters who insist upon arguing with a group of posters who don’t exist and haven’t for some time haha

We all love JD. We all believe in JD. Move on

For crying out loud, you don’t have to love a teammate to block for him. They are competitors. They want to win. I played ball flag ball on several teams that had QBs I didn’t like at all. I still would have done anything to help them reach the end zone, because I wanted to win.

I’m sure Jayden Daniels is well liked, but blocking for him is not evidence of it.

Is anyone really saying that this year?

Anyone who doesn’t think JD is a top two qb in LSU history is just trolling at this point.

Thanks for posting. Had no idea BTJ came from the other side of the field. Fantastic effort that deserves some recognition.
