Our OL - kind of crazy if you think about it

Our supposed OL (I know it’s different now) included two dudes who were recruited as DT’s, and a 3rd is a transfer from the Ivy League.

Our two best lineman (our only two good lineman, arguably) were the only ones actually recruited here as offensive linemen.

O has been here a while to get the trenches fixed. He was recruiting director with miles even prior to taking over in 16. the OL is a cluster and it’s on O. It will take 3 years to get it anywhere close to where it needs to be with competent recruiting.

I'm wondering what the hell they do next year if Bradford and Thomas continue being fatasses and Ingram goes pro. Gonna be ugly.

Kardell Thomas dealt with a serious injury last year and is getting himself back up this year

Eric Andolsek, John Hazard, Lyle Hitt, Carnell Stewart were all recruited as DL but mostly played on OL.

I don't think it's that big a transition from DL-to-OL.

our biggest issue is at the OT positions and the Center. Just pray that we pull in Leigh this recruiting cycle, we won't be elite without an elite O line, this is why bama is so good every year

I’m talking more about program depth. We need at least 4 a cycle to maintain consistency at that position. We haven’t done that so we put together a good group last year that our skill position made look even better but we will have to wait another 3 years to put it together again and hopefully the stars align that the rest of the team is good also.

I think CEO has to do better with recruiting kids to stay while others develop. That's is the job in itself. Imagine how goof the line would look if Charles and Cushenberry would've stayed. But in hindsight, and with the way our defense looks.... They made the right call.

Totally stumped. The unit looked sensational against SC and seemed to be clearly improving week by week and then a total collapse yesterday.

Our two highly recruited olineman are looking like bust at this point Kardell keeps getting injured and Anthony Bradford is probably going to be another Chris Davenport or Donvaughn Campbell

Not saying it won't be true but if they would both lose 20-30 pounds they might actually be good players

Has Kardell Thomas been playing at all? I haven’t noticed him in.
