Is anyone accounting for this fact in their scintillating analysis of LSU scrimmage stats?

I'm as hard on the team and O as most but come on. This seems to be a point that's never brought up.

Sure, the offense has weaknesses. What compounds that is a defense with next to NO weaknesses and a defensive staff that knows the opposing offense to a T.

You realize Aranda is working on his own things - they aren't really gameplanning per se for our offense. In fact, in some ways, he wants to run a defense that they may have some kinkds to work out on - i.e. if a DB or LB is having some issues with zone he'll want to make sure that player works some zone in.

Now, that being said, the D have seen the routes, plays, etc. many times over. But stop pretending Aranda is spending hours breaking down our offense purely to shut them down in a scrimmmage.

Ya. We've accounted for that. Its been brought up for the last 5 years... except last year, when the O was beating the D at times as well

Yea I bet Aranda spends hours breaking down film of our offense to prep for these scrimmages.

This is a BS excuse and everyone knows it.

Our offense has the same advantage of knowing the defense better than anyone ever will so it cancels out

Problem is we hear this every fricking year.

Oh, the offense looks bad in the spring game or scrimmages because the defense is that good.

Then the season starts and, sure the defense is good but the offense is still shite.

Same old song and dance.

That’s how I picture our OL vs our DL.

Bama apparently knows Ensminger's offense better than our defense does, as we at least accidentally score a few points against the defense in scrimmages.

Shouldn’t the offense know the defense and their tendencies by now? They should know the defense just as well

Idiotic statement. Obviously they know the offense pretty well, but they also run their base packages in scrimmages. Very few blitzes, all of which are easy to read. He saves the good stuff for games.
