He’s going to start the guy that struggles to vertically throw the ball down field that likes to run and play him for a half. Then he’s going to start the young inexperienced gunslinger who likes to push the ball downfield for the 2nd half. My 2 cents.

75% Nuss 25% Howard

This is what I want to see, and it has absolutely nothing to do with how good Daniels is or isn’t. At this point, a non-playoff Bowl Game is nothing more than a scrimmage that happens to count as a win or loss. That’s just how it is now.

With that in mind, a bowl game should be about one thing only going forward- development. You want to make a bowl to get the extra practice after the season and then get your younger players experience in unfamiliar situations. Why not give that QB experience to Nuss and Howard?

We all know what Daniels can do. Let’s see how Nuss can prepare with the ones and handle starting a game. Let’s see Howard in some real action when the game is still on the line. This is a much better opportunity than a Spring Practice scrimmage vs your own team, so take advantage. Focus on the younger players on this roster and use this Bowl Game for development.

Probably has to do with the fact Nuss can make throws as a RS freshman that Daniels can’t as a senior. But keep living in your fake reality

If Nuss has a lick of sense he'll go transfer portal and opt out of the bowl. It would be poetic justice to see him at an SEC rival and win championships--maybe Florida w/ Napier?

Here’s how I hope it will play out:
Daniels starts the game and plays well, showing NFL scouts that he’s healthy and NFL-ready.
We take a big lead into the third quarter with Nuss taking over, and Howard gets two or three series late with the game in-hand.

I agree with this but there will be way too many people that take this game too seriously and will make broad sweeping judgements about the future of the program simply based off this one game.

Yeah both QB’s have done that this year. Something GN13 should be able to iron out the more PT he gets.

Poor Nuss. You be sure to follow and support him at his new school.

Do you think Kelly want's to pick up a bowl loss his first year? If I'm kelly, I want to win and go 10-4 my first year end on a high note bowl win. Not 9-5 with 3 straight losses to end my season. Which means no, you will not see Nuss until at least 3rd/4th quarter, and we will most likely never see Howard at all.

Oh please let this happen. We are already going to beat the shite out of Florida over the next 2 years before Napier is fired but getting in a few pick 6s against them along the way will make it even better.

Napier is trash and a joke. It’s pathetic some of you shrimp boat dipshits wanted him as our coach.

And JD can extend plays and even get long first downs with his legs that Nuss just can’t. See how this works? It could go either way.
