Fitzpatrick was also asked if Georgia reminded him of another team. “I would say LSU, but obviously more talented,” he said. “They do their job a little bit better.

Georgia more talented

I just saw this on the advocate. If it’s been posted, mea culpa.

Well he's not lying. Georgia is in the title game and SEC champions.

Did he add, “Georgia has an actual head coach”?

Minkah got nut drugged.

He's not wrong, though.

I think it is actually a compliment. Of all the teams Bama has played, including Clemson, he compares the other team playing for a NC to LSU. Not a diss at all in my opinion; he puts us right up there with them.

While we have not been a top 10 team for several years, we have been close. LSU is a QB away from competing for championships every year just like Bama. Our defense is stellar but can't stay on the field forever.

Here's hoping we get a great OC.

Am I the only one that sees the compliment in that? UGA is the SEC champion and in the NC game. Why would it be a diss to be the one school he decided to name as reminding him of that great team?

I mean it’s true. One team lost to Troy. One team is playing for a championship.
