This is setting up like the opener with FSU. They're getting the breaks early but the Tigers are keeping it close. If OSU doesn't put them away, the Tigers will make it hurt.

Maybe Gilbert coming in is a good thing.
Walker certainly wasn't throwing poorly. I thought he looked pretty good. But if Gilbert shoves it can change the momentum of the game. Oregon State wasn't hitting Walker hard, but they were swinging early in counts and it seemed like they had a good plan at the plate as a team. Gilbert is a little harder to gain and approach against.
