Orlando Sentinel - Gators fear no evil in Valley

Hot off the press:
LINK
Favorite bits: Urban is 6-6 versus SEC West in regular season. He wonders why UF has to play us every year (we feel same about you). Said 2007 loss haunts them.

Very good read. Gators are in for a surprise in Tiger Stadium Sat. nite.

Lets hope the fans deliver need it to be deafening. OF course, like I posted someplace else, Urban meyer plan to run up the score early to take the fight out of us.

gators are in for a surprise?
like what? another loud away game like the one in 07' when our worst defensive and youngest team in recent memory came in and arguably outplayed your NC team
or possibly an opponent being extra pumped to play us? sure lsu is extra motivated after that arse raping last year... but sooo are 17 of the last 18 teams we have played..not to mention every team on our schedule this year
or is the surprise goin to be that your team is going to fix all of its resounding ? marks, like the shoddy pass blocking, pass protection, qb pressure, poor offensive production and suddenly play ubelievably inspired football and win the game
I'm anxiously awaiting this surprise

Score? Florida needs moral victories now?
Somebody is still a little bitter about 5 for 5 on 4th down I take it.

Is a troll. Half of his posts have been about "us" beating LSU, or "we're" going to do this. Unless he's on the team, he sounds like a 12 year old talking shite. And, if he is on Florida's team, can he post his phone number please?

To capture the deathly atmosphere of LSU's Death Valley, look no further than the dents in a Florida team bus. The Gators took a slow, windy road to Tiger Stadium four years ago when a sea of purple-and-gold fans engulfed the bus. Windows cracked, and the Tigers cracked Florida 21-17 later that day. "Fans would literally shake your bus," said Chip Howard, Florida's director of game-day operations. "They'd push it from side to side, back and forth. Since then they take us in a little bit of a different way to the stadium."
I call B.S. on all that.
What slow, windy road did they take to get onto campus? Nicholson? Dalrymple? Highland? And they get a police escort...it's not like the bus driver is trying to navigate through the crowd like a taxi driver in the streets of some 3rd world country.
ETA: On second thought, I guess it would be possible if they went up Dalrymple and crossed Highland and went through the middle of campus to get to the stadium. That would be a "slow, windy road" once you got past Pleasant Hall & Middleton. That would also be pretty fricking stupid to go that way on game day.

I expect you fans down there to make a piece of history this time. Noise level at all time high, but be carefull not to bring down the stadium. I've got tickets later in the year.

For all Urban Meyer's dominance at Florida, he's 6-6 against the SEC West in regular-season play compared to 20-2 against the East.
damn....just, DAMN!

20-2 versus the East is very impressive.

Traditionally, we have been better against the East than the West. For what reason, I have no idea. But 22-2 is just, WOW!
Those damn Mississippi schools always seem to get us. I don't know why. For instance, it has been since the '80s since we've won at MSU.

That is an interesting stat. I knew they had your number but I didn't realize it had been since the 80's regarding Miss. State.
Last year the week of the Ole Miss game a friend of mine that is a Florida alum said there was no way y'all would lose to Ole Miss. I told them that was the most dangerous game on your schedule because, for some reason, Ole Miss has had Florida's number. He was in shock for a couple of days.
