Not buying it, did it hurt what little pocket awareness he has? Wouldn't be broadcasting that to AU if it were true.

I don't know if he was hurt or not, but he needs to stop staring down the receiver he is going to throw the ball to.

Etling is garbage. Injury or not. I’d take Anthony Jennings or Marcus Randall over him. Maybe even Hatch.

Statistically, Etling is better than all of these players.

I love Etling for his toughness but he’s a terrible QB

if all our players played with heart etling showed Saturday, we'd be undefeated. he didnt throw the ball well but he laid everything on the line for my Tigahs.

I think someone slipped you some flaka, go get checked out. Etling is not elite but he's better than the guys you're referring to and especially hatch.

Orgeron says

He also said he had learned his lesson about inferring with his coaches and wouldn't do that if only he got the LSU job. He also said a certain RB was too hurt to play against Florida last year to only change his mind five minutes before kick off.

Some of the stuff O comes out with is beginning to worry me.

More and more excuses for DE.

First the offseason back surgery was the reason he could never pass consistently or make quicker decisions. Now his pride was hurt the first play of the game. Gtfoh.

He's just not the guy everyone wanted him to be. We should have moved on game 1 and we would have at least 1 SEC ready QB right now.

If he got hurt on first run or first series why would he run so much afterwards like he did?

Because he is a bad arse and that is his way of rubbing some dirt on it and walking it off.

But he's not. And you wouldn't be downvoting me if we would of lost.
We can play this game all day.

I'll let you tell me how he looked Saturday.

Playing hurt and looking like shite is putting the team first because you have no confidence in the guy behind you? Try again.
He's not good enough to put a team on his shoulders.

I think he's missing some problems with Etling's play that we're seeing these past 2 weeks that we hadn't seen before.

So you think a whole staff of paid coaches have missed what tRant has seen?

Maybe a hurt DE is still more reliable to run the offense than a true freshman. Especially in The Swamp against a Florida team that has some great defensive players

Injured players being selfish isn’t something to be admired. I know the tough guy image is glorified in football and even in American culture in general, but your selfishness is hurting your team and that is the opposite of leadership. Etling is a tough kid, but people knighting for him are being a bit ridiculous. It’s not like he provided anything of value in that game. His biggest gainer should have been a clean int save for a tough/smart play by Chark.

So much fricking stupidity in this post. Football players playing through injury is exactly what the game is about. This game was gut-check time, and Etling answered the bell. Period.
