If thats true, Then he doesnt need to be the head coach of lsu.
An AD’s job isnt to babysit head coaches. Its to give them the resources they need to do their jobs successfully and evaluate their coaches performances over time.

Well, I'm happy with the current hires and as long as they learn from their mistakes, I hope for nothing but success for both Coach O and Woody.

You are right. I just feel like Alleva's overburden supervision of O made him a better coach and I don't even like Alleva and thought he was a terrible AD despite giving us O and WW.

Discussing his decisions isn't hating him. It's actually a valid comment. O would've done himself a favor to not say what he said. I don't think any reasonable person would argue against that.
That's not hating the guy.
If someone questions you, does that mean they hate you? Of course not.

He's the HC at LSU. I expect him to show some maturity and character. Ed is one immature, lazy individual who needs a foot up his in the worst kind of way.
Someone needs to let his laziness know he's in the same division as perhaps the greatest HC in CFB history. It's hard to imagine Saban hiring assistants without interviewing them.
This is infuriating and especially after the Canada debacle.

Yep. It's part of O's job as a head coach to make the best hires. He has said that himself.
Not interviewing any potential candidate for the DC position is pretty ridiculous. Particularly when they, whoever the DC was going to be, was going to get paid a substantial contract. O had no idea how further along or further behind Pelini was in regards to todays offensive plan. Had he done an interview, he more than likely would've known the answer to that. That's not hating O.
If anyone goes in for a job, they're going to interview that person before they get hired. They're not going to say, "well, 12 years ago he did this and that and was flat out amazing according to his resume' so hire him right now and we'll pay him top dollar." No, they're going to have an interview first.
O would've done himself a favor and just kept that to himself instead of saying it to the media.
