If we weren't playing Texas in week 2, maybe the Texas judge would have stuck to the original timetable.

Time to move on with who we have, would be nice to have his talent on that line but it doesn't look like that will happen.

They need to let this kid get on with his life. If he screwed up, sentence him to his punishment. If not, get the f out the way of his future. Dragging litigation on is ridiculous.

Just play him and let the legal shite work itself out, it's been rumored for like 6 months now he should be good.

Bama played Deionte Thompson 2 full seasons when he had a trial pending for a felony assault charge. That happened in spring 2017 and he played all of 2017 and 2018 with the trial date pending, with the charge ultimately dropped in February 2019.

Ridiculous we play by different rules

Chasen Hines and King Kardell will be a hell of a battle in camp for the LG spot. We’re fine there.

Bingo about Alabama. We need to be playing by the same set of rules if we want to win. He needs to play.

Then all we would need is one Baylor-like incident and everything would implode. No thank you!

Well at least the coaches know going into fall camp not to depend on him being there.

Why is this surprising? Who thinks he could have contributed this year after being out of football for a year?
If his lawyer couldn’t work out a plea or diversion program by now why was anyone optimistic? Of course, it’s possible his family couldn’t afford a decent lawyer.
Plus, none of this takes in to account his guilt or innocence.

This just sounds a little too fishy if you ask me. By now his case has to have been continued 3-4 times. If he were playing for a Texas school I’m willing to bet this would already be resolved but since he’s at LSU it seems like the judge is dragging it out as long as possible. They need to quit screwing with a kids life because this is the time he has to set his family up for life. By taking away all his eligibility they almost assure the kid of never being able to play pro ball. It’s time to either sentence him or set him free.
